THE MAGIC OF MAKING A DIFFERENCE
At Broadwick Soho, a touch of magic has always been part of our story - which is why we’re proud to support Breathe Arts Health Research, a charity bringing creativity into healthcare.
Breathe Arts develops programmes that use the arts, from music and dance to poetry and magic, to help people heal, connect, and grow. Their award-winning Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Programme gives young people with hemiplegia access to over 60 hours of therapy through the art of magic. Working alongside occupational therapists and magicians from The Magic Circle, children learn specially designed tricks that improve hand function, confidence, and independence. Beyond magic, their team runs a wide range of creative health initiatives - from maternal wellbeing and early years music sessions that support new mothers and babies, to arts-based training for healthcare professionals and ongoing research proving the real impact of creativity on recovery and wellbeing. Every programme is built on evidence, compassion, and the belief that the arts have a vital role to play in modern healthcare.
We’re proud to support Breathe Arts Health Research through our Moulin Rouge! The Musical partnership - a celebration of theatre, and a way to give back to the arts. For every cocktail enjoyed, £2 goes directly to Breathe Arts Health Research, helping them continue their incredible work.
The magic behind their programme feels especially meaningful to us - and to our founder, Noel. Raised among circus acts and magic shows at his family’s Bournemouth hotel in the 1970s, performance has always been part of his world. That same theatrical spirit has shaped our design and energy from the very beginning.
Noel’s lifelong love of magic was the spark behind Broadwick Soho itself, which makes supporting Breathe Arts feel all the more fitting.
